SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE 2008
DAIFUKU MALAYSIA PARTICIPATED IN SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE 2008
Daifuku Malaysia, together with its strategic business alliances, Jebsen & Jessen Technology Malaysia (www.jjsea.com) and Omron Malaysia (www.omron-ap.com.my) participated in the Supply Chain Conference 2008 which was held on 12th of August 2008 in Concorde Hotel Shah Alam.
The conference was organized by Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM). There were 9 booths exhibiting various applications and solutions and it was attended close to 100 participants.
With the slogan “Optimizing Business Value through Transformed Supply Chain Strategies” as the theme, it provides business enterprises an understanding of valuable insights in facing unprecedented pressing challenges in today’s economics climate with decreasing profit margin, increasing global competition, policy pressures, compressing products life cycles and proliferation of technology to a more demanding marketplace.
During this conference, Daifuku Malaysia has officially launched Daifuku eWareNavi Warehouse Management System (WMS) to Malaysia market. As one of the exhibitors, with the demo set developed for this conference, Daifuku Malaysia showcased its eWareNavi Warehouse Management System through a Radio Frequency (RF) Directed Operation with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) integration.
“We are absolutely delighted that the participants are able to experience the live demo of our eWareNavi Warehouse Management System,” said Mr. Hiroyuki Katsura, Deputy Managing Director of Daifuku Malaysia.
“We realized that there are a lot of business enterprises having serious consideration of Supply Chain Management (SCM) through this conference. We hope that, as the slogan suggested, we can help them to optimize their business values through our eWareNavi Warehouse Management System,” added Mr. Katsura.
